About our organization
With a legacy dating back to 1965, Recon Engineering Co. (P) Ltd. has established a strong presence in the railway and engineering sector. We specialise in air-brake equipment, pneumatic and solenoid-operated valves, brake valves and cocks, reservoirs, brake cylinders, filters, compressor spares, and precision-machined components.
Our capabilities span CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, testing and quality documentation, enabling us to serve the railway and rolling-stock sector with reliable, application-oriented engineering solutions. We hold Quality Management System certification for the design, manufacture and supply of a wide range of railway products, including air and vacuum brake equipment, tri-plate panel mounted brake systems, critical brake valves, air spring control equipment, pantographs, air dryers, distributor valves, reservoirs, and brake cylinders — for locomotives, coaches, wagons, EMUs, MEMUs and DEMUs.
Recon operates across three strategically located manufacturing units in the Kolkata region, with a combined infrastructure of approximately 1,05,000 sq. ft. An ISO 9001:2015 certified company led by Managing Director Mr. Debjit Bhattacharya, we’ve extended our reach beyond India to markets including Malaysia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Indonesia and Bangladesh.
